If you like an inside look into the lives of fascinating people give one of our biographies a try. Most of our biographies and autobiographies are of actors, singers, royalty, politicians, and sports figures. We have many books on all of the Kennedys, Charles and Princess Di, Beryl Markham, Shirley Maclaine, Bette Davis, Maya Angelou, The Delaney Sisters, and Elvis Presley. 

Gay and Lesbian (top)

This category includes a small selection of primarily lesbian fiction, with some gay male novels and some non-fiction. We carry many Naiad Press books, and a variety of authors including Anne Cameron, Valerie Taylor, Jane Rule, Ellen Hart, and Sandra Scoppettone. 

General and Historical Fiction (top)

Here you will find bestsellers of today and years past. Anything that doesn't fit specifically into another section belongs here. If you like a combination of romance and suspense then check out our gothic section. We carry almost all the titles of Victoria Holt (aka Phillipa Carr), Mary Stewart, and Phyllis Whitney. We also have a good selection of Dorothy Daniels, Elsie Lee, Jennifer Blake and Jennifer Wilde.

Want to scare yourself? Check out our horror section. We carry almost all of the titles of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, John Saul, V.C. Andrews, Clive Barker, Robert McCammon, Neiderman, G. Murphy, Strieber, Charles Grant and Peter Straub. If vampires are your cup of tea, we have almost all of the Anne Rice books. 

Juvenile (top)

Most of our kid's books are suitable for grammar school age and older. There is not
much of a selection for pre-school and beginning readers. We do have all Goosebumps, lots of Pike and Stine, Judy Blume, Wizard of Oz, Babysitters Club, Babysitter's Little Sister, Freshman Dorm, Anne of Green Gables, Nickelodeon, Sweet Valley Twins, Sleepover Friends, Boxcar Children, Sweet Valley High and Nancy Drew. Check out these books if you want to "read" your movie. We have a small section of
books based on movies and television shows. The Batman movies, X-files, Indiana

If you prefer fact over fiction this is your category. We specialize in fiction but  have a good selection of non-fiction to choose from. We have a large selection of true crime books, including most of Ann Rule's works. We have hundreds of self-help and metaphysical books by authors such as Bradshaw, Beattie, Dwyer, Norman Vincent Peale, Lynn Andrews, Carlos Castaneda, M. Scott Peck, and Edgar Cayce. We have a limited selection of books on sports, business, child care, religion, health, nature, women's studies, war, history, and politics. 

Paranormal Romances (top)

This section is for you if you enjoy romance mixed in with traveling back in time, magic, angels and ghosts, or taking a look at what the future may bring. At times Diana Gabaldon is hard to come by, but we have a good selection of other authors, including Constance O'Day- Flannery. Series carried are: Haunting Hearts, Magical Love, Timeswept, Love Spell, Angel's Touch, and Faerie Tale Romances. 

Romance (top)

This section includes all series romances. We have thousands of Harlequins going back to 1990. The series in stock are: Harlequin Intrigue, American Romance, Temptation, Super Romances, Silhouette Romance, Silhouette Desire, Silhouette Special Edition, and Silhouette Intimate Moments.  Other series include 36 Hours, Fortune's Children, Tyler, Hometown Reunion, and Duets.  We also have thousands of Regencies and many titles by Barbara Cartland and Grace Livingston Hill.
